ABOUT THE CLASSES
Participation in Kelrik’s Workshops allows your child to excel in performance techniques, body movement, voice, improvisation, theater games, and more. Students learn independent thinking, build self-confidence, make new friends, improve communication and imagination skills, and build trust and self-disciple as they share in a creative process, which inspires joy and fulfillment.
The Primary Purpose: It's fun!
Our workshop focuses on the joys of creativity, self-expression and imagination. An inner acting technique workshop using improvisation, theater games and performance art to practice skills that help students excel in the classroom participation, one-on-one personal communication and in every play in which they will ever perform. The workshops focuses on theater as a total activity: acting, singing and dancing.
Kelrik Productions has developed a theatrical workshop to provide children and teens an enjoyable and challenging learning experience. The program does not provide school credit. It is designed strictly as an enriching experience. No grade will be given.
Students are expected to conduct themselves in a manner, which will facilitate instruction in the learning process. Disruptive students will be dismissed from the program and the parents will be called to pick them up. Please make arrangements for your child to arrive 10 minutes before class begins.
Persons ages 5 to 16 will participate in Kelrik’s Workshops.
Refunds will be given automatically if classes are cancelled. Disruptive students asked to leave will not be granted a refund. Due to the extreme popularity of our camps, we do not offer refunds or cancellations for any reason except medical or family emergencies.
Transportation to and from the workshop is the responsibility of the parents.
We encourage comfortable dance and play friendly clothing each day. Please encourage your kids to wear closed toed shoes with a back of some kind (please no flip flops or clogs).
Sickness or Lateness
Please inform us prior to class if your child is sick, or going to be late for class.
At Kelrik we value the safety of our students and it is important that safety in the theatre be implicated at all times. Please let us know of any allergies on your enrollment form. Our staff will be alerted to the allergy and maintain a high level of awareness. Medication and directions can be left with the camp administrator. We do not have a nurse on staff. However, each location has at least one certified first aid/CPR trained staff member.
